Outlining your brand goals is an important part of the creative brief. It’s especially relevant because it helps me to understand your core values and why you are different from your competitors. In addition, it’s helpful when customers share examples of design elements that appeal to them. Creating mood boards like this is a good way of beginning the discussion about your brand. You can send a file containing your ideas, or even share a Pinterest board if you have one. If you’ve not put together a design brief before, I’m always happy to have a chat about your brand aspirations.
Brand identity design package
Once we’ve agreed on the brand look and feel that you’re after, I’ll begin work on your brand designs. These can include your logo, business card, letterheads and any other design elements. In addition to the necessary branded stationery files, I’ll also send you a brand style guide. This establishes your brand’s visual characteristics, incorporating fonts, colours, icons and other styles. This is especially useful for you or your workforce when you need to create branded documents in future.
